Craftsmanship

Each Taytta hat is handwoven in Ecuador using authentic toquilla straw, a natural fibre harvested from the Carludovica palmata plant. The weaving process is entirely manual and requires exceptional skill developed over generations of artisans.

The straw is carefully selected, softened, and woven strand by strand before the hat is blocked and finished to achieve its final shape.

Sizing Guide

Using a string or measuring tape, wrap it loosely around the widest part of your head around 1cm above the eyebrows and ears. For the perfect fit, we recommend repeating this process a few times.

XS — 54 cm
S — 55–56 cm
M — 57–58 cm
L — 59–60 cm
XL — 61–62 cm

If you are between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

Care Instructions

Store in a cool, dry place.

Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.

If the brim loses shape, lightly steam and reshape by hand.

Do not fold the hat unless specified.
